Description QCR, Inc. has been providing consulting and software tools to improve the quality and productivity of business processes for over 20 years. It is the goal of QCR to provide the industry with the next step in business management systems.  QCR is a privately held Texas corporation founded in 1986 as Process Integrity (PI).  In 1987, Philip Crosby Associates (PCA), a quality management consultancy, acquired PI.  During the initial years, the defect reporting system product offering was converted to a more conceptual process control and management system.  This resulted in less dependence on manufacturing process language and opened markets beyond manufacturing.  The sale of PCA in 1990 allowed QCR to again become an independent company. QCR has a software product based on process improvement concepts and techniques.  It has a proven track record, a history of enterprise-sized customers and recognition of the Internet as the preferred software medium.
Business Offerings A History of Innovation

QCR Corporation, founders have pioneered software systems used in real time monitoring of business processes for a multitude of real-world applications across several industries.

First on the scene Real Time Process Monitoring
QCR’s founders provided the first dispersed data processing system to monitor manufacturing processes in real time.

 Supplier/Associate Rating
The impact of a poorly performing supplier or associate can have a devastating effect on any business. The real force of this impact was brought to management’s attention when QCR produced the first rating of suppliers and associates based upon the actual costs incurred and then comparing one to the other(s). Clients began experiencing immediate ROI using this feature alone.

 Configuration Matrix
Introduced the first real-time system to ensure as built, as shipped and as maintained products and services meet the as designed criteria.

 Activity Based Cost of Quality
Years before Activity Based Costing became the rage in accounting circles, QCR’s founders took Philip Crosby’s book “Cutting the Cost of Quality” and introduced the first Activity Based Cost of Quality Analysis. In real time, managers could then determine the impact of problems and inefficiency in the common language of money.

 Automatic Event Management
The first Event or Alert Management Module that notifies in real-time when thresholds are exceeded. This provided a decided advantage over competitors by taking the next step and assigning or even requiring immediate corrective action. No longer were problems allowed to escalate.

 Intelligent Data Collection
QCR founders introduced a real-time interactive data collection module. Associates are prompted for the proper response given the situation and circumstance involved at the time.

 Automated Multimedia Work Instructions
Since the definition of quality is “conformance to requirements” a means to present the requirements and the specific work to be performed by associates were delivered in a multimedia format. The associates are then prompted to verify that tasks have been accomplished as instructed. Validation and verification records are automatically produced.

 Omission-proofing and Mistake-proofing (ZERO DEFECTS)
The system used to ensure quality is prevention! QCR introduced the first omission-proofing and mistake-proofing software module to the industry. It prevents omissions and requires associates to maintain a mistake proof environment. Finally the enterprise can “force things to be done right-the first time, on time, every time!”
